Preschool Progress

The theme of “different jobs” has Solanna’s preschool taking field trips to local businesses to learn about the post office, the bank, the general store and in the pictures below, The Front St. Cafe in Pemberville to make pizzas.

Waiting for a turn

Waiting for a turn

The kids did a great job waiting for their turn to make a pizza.

Even when the oven went down, causing a slight delay in the activities, they played “I spy ” and colored to stay busy.

I tried my hardest to convince at least one preschooler to try onions on their pizza. No takers. For some of them it was a stretch to choose anything other than cheese as a topping!

When the ovens got going again everyone had a chance to create their masterpiece, including the parents that volunteered to help. I made sure I put onion on mine!
