Chores…

These past few days have been wonderful. The temperature is mild, the trees are colorful and I’ve spent many moments watching leaves dance as they finally let go and twirl to the ground.
Can you tell I love autumn?

Don’t get the wrong idea. Our days haven’t been all day-dreaming and sight seeing (more on that in another post). With fall, obviously comes winter. So we’ve been checking things off the “winter preparedness” list.

Chimney cap painted and sealed….
check.

Wood stacked….
check.

Outside toys put away for the winter…
che… oh wait…

I forgot to do that. Good thing I was taking photos, er… waiting for the paint to dry on the chimney cap and snapped pics of the back yard. I’ll get right on that chore after this post.
By the way… what’s better than two dogs staring at you through a storm door?…

Three dogs staring at you! Must be time to eat.
